Glimpses of North India – an Excursion

Every year KENNEDY HIGH the global school organizes an educational trip for students to different parts of the country to inculcate a love for Indian culture, heritage and to enhance their knowledge about India.

This year also the students of classes VIII, IX and X, accompanied by a team of senior teachers flew to Amritsar, where they visited the famous Golden temple, the historical Jallianwala Bagh and witnessed beating the retreat at Wagah Border. Their next stop was Dalhousie, where the lush greenery and panoramic view of nature held the students spellbound. The highlights of the last phase of the trip was a visit to New Delhi’s Aksharadham temple, Indian Air Force Museum, which ended with a visit to the majestic Qutub Minar.
